Newsletter #73 6th August 2021

Editor - Derek Godridge with guest author Paul Cooper PCC News of the Week:

  1. Our AGM last Thursday was a real success with all the main committee posts filled as follows: Chairman – Victor Tullin, Vice-Chair – Wendy Bate, Secretary – Maru Correa-Cano, Treasurer – Christine Hamshaw, Battle Secretary – Victor Tullin, Competition Secretary – Amanda Hanson, IT/Media – Paul Cooper, Programme Secretary – Karen Burton, CPA Rep – Derek Godridge

  2. Other important issues agreed included the membership fee for 2021-22 which will remain at £20 until Christmas to determine if the government allows closed meetings like ours to continue. If they do then to cover the inevitable increase in costs of the hall and heating, we will need another £15 from members. For couples only an additional £10 per person will be required.

  3. A reminder that Victor is still offering to have your photos laser printed at “Booths the Printers” so get your FULL SIZE images to him on a memory stick by SUNDAY pm.

  4. Get your (5 or less) prints ready for Penryn Fair Day on Saturday 28th August when we will need VOLUNTEERS to assist in the Town Hall and to talk to visitors and hopefully recruit new members! Also needed on Friday 27th August at 6.30pm in the Town Hall to help set up the display stands.
