Penryn camera club opened listing future activities, visiting fairs, planning exhibitions, organising trips, planning speakers and a committee meeting to prepare for the AGM. Victor offered a way to mount our prints and print A3 if we didn’t have that capability. The club is currently buzzing with activity - see our newsletter on our website for the full details.

A new member, Liz Telling wrote about a recent workshop; “This week I was delighted to attend a face-to-face Penryn Camera Club workshop. It is great to meet some of the other members in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with plenty of good-hearted banter. Victor was extremely patient with us, answering all the questions we had and making helpful suggestions. He gave us a tutorial on starting out with Photoshop by demonstrating what is achievable using members own images. I found it great fun and highly informative workshop.”

Finally, we critiqued a hard-fought competition with Wendy Bate taking the first spot with a stunning picture of a rose. Placed; Julia, Nicky, Jeanette and Victor were hard on her heels. The club will take a couple of weeks break, returning on 24th with a mystery guest speaker.
