This week’s Penryn Camera Club meeting was especially vibrant covering our recent cream tea event (images on Facebook). We chatted through our contribution to Penryn Fair day (28th Aug); the Penryn Arts and Crafts fair (25th Sept); Photographic opportunities at the “Tour of Britain” cycle race, including the Penryn sprint (5th Sept); and the Red Arrows visiting Falmouth (11th Aug). How to mount images (12th Aug), and of course preparation for the Covid delayed AGM (5th Aug)

The results for this week’s lockdown competition are in and from the feedback members found this subject (Seafood and Fish) testing. You can find these on our Facebook page Facebook.com/PenrynCC/. Third place; Parisian Fishmonger by Wendy. Second place is Here’s Looking at you by Raymond (that fish’s face!!!) and this week’s winner; Lagos fish market by Ann Glinn. Our next competition, Bridges/Towers (12th Aug) is equally testing.

If you would like to join this superactive friendly club, start via our website. Look for the Contact Us form on the top menu bar. Our amiable members have all photographic abilities, so you are sure to fit in. Don’t like links? Google; Penryn Camera Club.
