Friday 22nd January

The Penryn Camera Club enjoyed our first formal competition of 2021, the Ken Farnell KF1. Judge Wendy Allard (Truro CC) discussed each image in detail, offering suggestions or options to improve an image where relevant. It was gratifying that some of our newest members ranked in the winning charts and as one of them said; “I thought it would be scary, but in fact, it was an enjoyable evening.”

Having fresh eyes to look at, and constructively critique, our image pride-and-joys requires a deep breath, BUT it’s part of our learning curve as photographers. Every point Wendy, with years of experience, made was helpful and spot-on. An almost full club attendance on the Zoom call appreciated the evening, and the time and effort Wendy expended.

If you would like to join us and enter our competitions, start via https://www.penryncameraclub.org.uk and look for the Contact Us form on the top menu bar. Or Google; Penryn Camera Club.
