A Social Sunday Lunch

The last few weeks have seen a couple of firsts for the Penryn Camera club for this season. The week before last we had the hand-in for our first two competitions and on the same evening we had our first training session, looking at the basics of exposure. This session was a great starter for our new members but along with the critique of images that accompanied the talk it was a useful reminder for all members of how important it is to look at all aspects when preparing to capture an image. Then last Sunday the club had its first social event of the new season. Following our very successful visit to CJs of Budock Water before last season ended everyone agreed that our next social should return there so back we went for another wonderful Sunday lunch. These events are not just a chance to “meet and eat” together but to chat in a leisurely setting about all things photographic. The chatter and banter are great and always enjoyed by all. This week is our first practical evening. Why not bring your camera and come and join us. See our website www.penryncameraclub.org.uk
