Penryn Camera Club is established with the conditions set out in its constitution and is a data controller within the UK. 

Penryn Camera Club is affiliated to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB) through the Cornwall Photographic Alliance (CPA), and the Western Counties Photographic Federation (WCPF),

The personal information referred to in this Policy may include name, contact details and records of entries to events and other such information that may be necessary for the effective management of the legitimate interests of Penryn Camera Club. Any person wishing to verify the information held by Penryn Camera Club may apply to the Chairman or Secretary.

Penryn Camera Club collects and holds personal information about:

1)    The executive committee of Penryn Camera Club and others who assist the executive  


•      This information is used to facilitate the administration.

•      The information is compiled into electronic files held by individuals, published in the membership card and  

         new member’s booklet and on the club website.

2)    Individuals offering services to Penryn Camera Club such as judges, lecturers and affiliated clubs 

•      This information is used to facilitate the administration. 

•      The information is compiled into electronic files held by individuals within the committee. 

3)    Individual members of the club 

•      To facilitate dissemination of club news and events information  

4)    Photographers as the creators of images used in the activities of Penryn Camera Club

•      This information is managed subject to the General Conditions for Competition Events.


Penryn Camera Club may retain historical archives for example but not limited to, records of meetings, handbooks, catalogues, awards and other event results.
