Tea on the lawn - Report 1st September

Its an exciting time for Penryn Camera Club as the summer holiday season comes to a close. On Sunday club members were once again very blessed by Stuart and Fleur Ford as they held yet another of their famed Cream Teas. Members enjoyed a variety of brilliant homemade scones and cream and a choice of Fleur’s amazing cakes. There were further cakes auctioned off so a good sum was again donated to the club’s funds for the purchase of equipment. As always great thanks go out to Fleur and Stuart for hosting a great social event which itself was blessed by a lovely sunny afternoon, a vital ingredient for any garden event! And much of the talk in the afternoon was all about the start of the club’s new photographic season which starts this Thursday, September 5th at 7.30pm at The Space, Penryn Rugby Club Kernick Road, Penryn. As always our new year eases into being with members bringing a sample of images that they have taken over the summer break and a social time with snack foods and chatter. If you like taking photos why not come and try us out. For details see our website www.penryncameraclub.org.uk
