Penryn Camera Club

Penryn Camera Club was founded in 1980 by a number of like-minded people with a keen interest in cameras and photography. The club is recognised for its friendly atmosphere, welcoming members of all ages and photographic abilities.

Where do we meet?

The club meets on Thursdays at 7.30 in the Penryn Football club; 30 Little Oaks, Penryn TR10 8QE

Competitions

The Club is a member of the Cornwall Photographic Alliance (CPA), which means that it is able to interact with other clubs in the county. We also take part in two countywide competitions each year.

When do we meet?

The indoor season runs from the beginning of September through to May and informal events are arranged throughout the summer.

Affiliations

We are affiliated to the Western Counties Photographic Federation (WCPF).                      and the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB).          This provides a forum where clubs from more distant areas can be provided with information, events, insurances and guidance in preparing images for exhibitions and competitions.

Digital Editing

Photo manipulation has become a standard part of every photographer's life.  Many of our members share a passion for editing and are happy to share their expertise and shortcuts.
